Telenor Montenegro is seeking for candidates interested to work on the position of Accounting, Tax and Cash Manager, as a part of Finance Unit, within Finance Division. This position directly reports to Finance Director
Key responsibilities:
- Management of accounting, tax and cash strategies, policies and procedures
- Correct booking of accounting transactions
- Ensure accurate and efficient monthly closing of financial statements and reporting
- Responsible for maintaining proper and appropriate accounting policies and procedures that are in line with Financial Reporting Standards (“FRSs”) and the Telenor Accounting Policies (“TAP”)
- In this role, you are accountable for on time reporting to the external parties, including Telenor, Statistical Department of Montenegro, Tax authorities etc.
- Liaison with external auditors for proper auditing process and production of audited financial statements
- Ensure internal stakeholders have sufficient accounting competence and understanding
- Managing and maintaining accounting systems
- Ensure proper compliance with the prevailing tax law and regulations
- Ensure proper tax filing and submission, on time and accurate tax payments with no penalty
- Responsible for maximizing potential tax savings
- Responsible for the initial tax planning activities by exploring available tax incentives or application with the authorities for possible incentive
- You are the liaison with tax consultants, IRB personnel and authorities in lobbying tax issue or incentive
- Responsible for Cash management
- Execution of domestic and international payments
- Executing good leadership according to Telenor’s principles and responsibilities for Division support in a constructive way to secure fulfilment of Telenor’s business objectives
- Other tasks requested by superiors
Ideal candidate should posses:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in related field
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Good data understanding and good business understanding
- Analytical skills
- Ability to cooperate with others and to be proactive
- Understanding of local market, trends and competition is an asset
- Fluent knowledge of English (Written & Verbal)
- Proficiency with MS Office
