New Promonte shop opened

Promonte shop was officially opened in Bijelo Polje yesterday, by cutting the ribbon.



New Promonte shop is located in Street Živka Žizića and is the first parther shop in the north of Montenegro.

Promonte Company Sales Director, Luka Mitrović, who has officially opened the facility, emphasized the following on this occassion: „ This way we accomplish our ambitions to expand our network out of Podgorica, so that our services in this region can be used in the right manner. It is our desire to enable our present and future clients to be included into Promonte network at high standards. This way we prove the strenght of Telenor Company we anyway belong to.“

Promonte Company is planning to open new shops soon, and the first one will be opened in Berane.

PLUS handsets

Starting from today,  Promonte Company is starting the sales of telephone Samsung C 450, Sony Ericsson T 250, Samsung J 700, Samsung G 800, Sony Ericsson K 770 I and Nokia 6500 slide under the priviledged  conditions for postpaid users of a PLUS package.
 

The offer refers to existing postpaid subscribers who use or traverse to any of PLUS packages: Classic, Plus 5, Plus 15  or Plus 30 . Users of tariff PLUS packages can buy these telephones under priviledged conditions, that is, at price which depends on the package they destined to. Likewise, existing Plus users have the possibility of changing the existing tariff package into suitable Plus package , with signing the Contract for 12 months on usage of selected package. Existing subscribers are considered to be all users who have been active postpaid users for at least three months.

E-mail anywhere

Promonte Company has introduced the new service, “E-mail  Anywhere” for its users. From now on, users of Promonte network can use electronic mail wherever they are.

All users of Promonte network, by simple registration by their mobile telephones, through following address http://mobile.bilogdje.com, or via Internet site http://mail.bilogdje.com, will get email address which is in the format of their phone number:
069123456@bilogdje.com. After successful registration, service of Promonte will send SMS with automatic adjustment to the number of telephone of a user. No additional software is required, and top quality protection against viruses and spam is provided.
 
If e-mail the user wants to send contains a large quantity of data or a photograpg, software automatically optimizes the sent mail for the given telephone number the receiver is using. In that way the data flow and time needed for taking over are significantly reduced.

Each time the telephone user receives the new e-mail, it will be informed about it by SMS. If user has more than one account, he need not check all of them individually.  Namely, user can use “Super mailbox” which enables receiving mail from all the accounts the user has through one of them (cg.yu. Yahoo, Gmail..).

With the best coverage, Promonte enables its users to check or send e-mail at any time, anywhere.

Company Promonte introduces three new PLUS tariff packages for postpaid users starting from 07.04.
With Plus packages you get the most favorable price of call within Promonte network and to Telenor Serbia network, you don’t have a monthly subscription, because the amount of 5, 15 or 30 € is included in your spending. All together you get the favorable price of SMS, as well as an extremely favorable price for Favorite numbers.

We offer following postpaid packages to our users:

PLUS 5
By purchase or activation of this tariff package your calls to all networks, both in Montenegro and abroad are included in the amount of 5 €.
Within Plus 5 package, for a minute of call in Promonte network you pay: 0.08 €, and the price of SMS is 0.03 €, and for only 0.04 € you talk to your favorite 3 numbers you choose whereof: two numbers in Promonte and one number in Telenor Serbia network.

PLUS 15 brings even more conveniences. All your calls are included in the amount of 15 €, and with this package, price for one minute of call within Promonte network is only 0.07 €, and price of SMS is 0.025 €.

Package Plus 15 offers you an opportunity to choose 4 favorite numbers and to talk for 0.035 € per minute to all those you care for. Choose three numbers in Promonte and one number in Telenor Serbia network and talk.

PLUS 30 is the package that brings the most pluses i.e. conveniences. For the amount of 30 € communicate with any network, and in the biggest national network – Promonte network, price for a minute of call is only 0.05 €, while the price of SMS messages is only 0.02 €. You have an opportunity to choose 5 Favorite numbers, even four in Promonte and one in Telenor Serbia network.

New shop in Nikšić

On March 12, the first Promonte premise out of Podgorica was opened in Nikšić.



Promonte CMO, Mr. Arild Kaale who has officially opened the shop and cut the blue strip, pinpointed:

Taking into consideration users’ suggestions and proposals, PRO offer for business users has been improved:
All PRO packages have implied a certain number of free minutes for payments of 5, 10, 20 or 30 Euros within the 069 network. Starting from March 1, free minutes can be spent in traffic to any mobile network in Montenegro, Serbia and abroad, and not only within the Promonte network.
Business users often communicate with their partners in the Republic of Serbia, therefore PRO package also features new price of calls to Telenor Serbian network that is on average 80% cheaper comparing to previous prices.
Besides the new business users who opt for PRO package, existent users of this business package can also transfer to this new tariff offer by written request. 

 

Partnership for sustainability

Promonte has established a partnership with The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Montenegro for sustainable development. The joint initiative, wich includes also Hypo Alpe Adria bank,  will demonstrate the potential for energy savings in selected buildings that is estimated to be up to 30 percent. It will also support the efforts of the Ministry for Economic Development of Montenegro in turning 2008 into a Year of Energy Efficiency.

A Memorandum of Understanding on this partnership between the UNDP, the Promonte and the Hypo Group Alpe Adria was signed today at a press conference.  Speakers at the conference were Mr. Garret Tankosić Kelly, UNDP Resident Representative a.i./UN Interagency Focal Point in Montenegro; H.E. Mr. Branimir Gvozdenović, Minister of Economic Development of Montenegro; Mr. Kare S. Gustad, Promonte Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Christian Toeltl, Director-General of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank AD Podgorica.  Mr. Nemanja Boljević, Board Member of the Hypo Alpe-Adria Leasing DOO Podgorica also attended the conference.

„UNDP has decided to partner with the private sector because it has this enormous potential to become not just an engine for economic growth but, by using its wealth in a socially responsible and environmentally effective manner, to become champions of sustainable growth,“ Mr. Garret Tankosić Kelly, UNDP Resident Representative a.i./UN Interagency Focal Point in Montenegro said.  „From a sustainability perspective the EBRD have shown that from a purely economic perspective saving a kilowatt of energy is several a thousand to ten thousand times more cost effective than paying for the generation of a new  kilowatt of energy.“

Mr. Christian Toeltl, Director-General of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank AD Podgorica said: “Hypo Group Alpe Adria has a longstanding commitment in providing contributions to reduction of global climate change impact.  Especially, our Group is active in the field of renewable energy, where in partnership with EIB (European Investment Bank) it is implementing a project worth of 100 million euros.  Hypo Group Alpe Adria, as a quite young actor on Montenegrin market, since the very beginning of its operations, has been involved in the sustainable development policy matters through the membership in the National Council for Sustainable Development.”

Infosport, service intended for customers that wish for prompt information about results of sports events, which they used to reach by calling 102, starting from March 01, shall no longer be in commercial use.

Business Customer Service 1169

Our wish to constantly improve quality of offered services has resulted in extension of working hours of the Business Customer Service (1169) starting from 01.01.2008.
Instead of hitherto working hours from 08.00h to 16.00h, the Business Customer Service shall be available to our users every day from 08.00h to 23.00h.
Thereby we have provided business customers an opportunity to get a scope of timely and accurate information in the afternoon and evening hours also, just by calling one number.

We have not stopped there. Starting from 01.03.2008, we shall introduce one more novelty in order to communicate more directly with business customers. Namely, delivery of the detailed bill with listed monthly expenditures for business customers shall be also possible by e-mail.

It is a simple procedure: legal person sends a letter, verified by seal and signature of the authorized person, with information about the e-mail address wherefrom requests shall be made and whereto it wishes its detailed bills to be delivered. Through pursuit of modern business trends we shall provide you fast and efficient way of insight into expenditures, in order to contribute to increase of work efficiency of our business customers. 

Customer Correspondence Sector

Contemporary trends in communication with customers have conditioned need for introduction of the Customer Correspondence Sector. Sector makes a part of the Customer Care Service, and it started to operate on 1.01. 2008. The primary goal of its existence is to get close to our customer further more, define their problems, facilitate communication and answer all the questions customers can have. We have offered an opportunity for customers to give us suggestions, proposals, to criticize us and, may we hope, to praise us. Telenor named top performer by Sustainability Yearbook

(19 February, 2008) The Telenor Group is ranked the best Mobile Telecom company in the world by the Sustainability Yearbook 2008

Continuous work with corporate sustainability

Only the top 15% companies qualify

Behind the yearbook are PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM). Every Year the 2,500 largest companies (based on the Dow Jones Global Index) are invited to participate in SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment. Only the top 15% of each of the 57 SAM sectors qualify for inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook.


Telenor moves ahead on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes 
The distinctions from Sustainable Asset Management AG (SAM) also reflect Telenor's results on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI). In 2007, for the first time during the six years that it has been among the leading companies on the Indexes, Telenor was named sector leader in mobile telecommunications. Among the runners up were:

  • BCE
  • Vodafone Group
  • SK Telecom
  • TeliaSonera


 
Leaping forward
This year there are also two new titles to achieve; SAM Sector Leader and SAM Sector Mover. Telenor was awarded both titles for the Mobile Telecom sector. The Sector Leader award identifies the company best prepared to seize the opportunities and manage the risk deriving from sector-specific economic, environmental and social developments. The Sector Mover title is given to the company that proportionally has improved its sustainability performance the most since last year.

SAM silver class
New this year is that SAM will not only list the companies, but classifies them into three categories:

  • SAM Gold Class
  • SAM Silver Class
  • SAM Bronze Class
     

With excellent results in both the Economic and Social Dimension, the total score qualified Telenor for the SAM Silver Class. This was the highest achievement in the Mobile Telecom sector, and Telenor was the only company to achieve this classification.
