Dear customers,

We inform you that, pursuant to Article 120 of the Law on Electronic Communications (Official Gazette of Montenegro 50/08, 53/09, 70/09) and Rulebook on the registration of users of services of public communications networks (Official Gazette of Montenegro no. 77/09), there has been defined, among other things, an obligation of registration of users of prepaid mobile telephony and the Internet.

Since Telenor is the company that makes full contribution to compliance with positive regulations of Montenegro, we believe that our duty is to inform you with regard to this legal obligation and present you future obligations.

Namely, the user shall, when purchasing a prepaid package, just fill in the registration form correctly and submit the appropriate identification document to the authorized person in the place of sale. It is not allowed to buy a prepaid package at any place of sale at the territory of Montenegro, without a user’s registration.

Registration includes recording of the following data about users: name, i.e. the name of the company that is the user as well as its organizational form; a unique identification number for natural persons and tax and registration number for legal persons; address and assigned customer number or user’s ID.

User’s data can be used, with the consent of the user, for the purposes of preparation, conclusion, implementation, change and termination of subscription, billing services and for the needs of competent state bodies, in accordance with the law.

Telenor is obliged to keep data on users during customer relationship and at least one year from the date of termination of service provision capabilities.

We are aware that, during the implementation of legal obligations regarding registration, there are possible different situations in practice, from delays in sales due to filling in the form, to the customer’s or user’s lack of information regarding his obligation to show the identification document. So please have understanding for our and your new, mutual obligation, and let’s jointly make a full contribution to compliance with the law.
