Express mail
Express mail is the service intended for the users, who, for some reason, do not wish to use Voice Mail.
- The principle is the same as with the voice mail: if the user A has switched off his/her telephone, the user B will get the notification like "Do not disconnect, you may leave a message, which will be express delivered to the user you have called".
- The recorded message may last up to 45 sec.
Thereby, the user may get the message left in two ways: If he/she is an MMS user – if, from the moment of leaving the message, certain X time (4h, for example) has not elapsed, the user will, as soon as he/she logs on the network, get the MMS with the recorded message in the AMR format. The user gets the MMS message in his/her inbox with the number of the user who has sent him/her the MMS (left the message). If X hours (4h, for example) have elapsed, the user will, upon logging on the network, get the SMS notification that he/she has a message left and to call 14071 to listen to the same. For active MMS users the service EXPRESSLY notifies the user of a message, either by MMS within 4 hours or by SMS after 4 hours. In case of a user who does not have MMS, the principle is the same; however, until the time X elapses, the user will not be notified of the message left. This means that, if the user logs on the network (switches on the telephone) 15min. after leaving of a message, he/she will get an SMS about the same only after 3h 45 min. In such a case, the user may, without waiting for possible SMS information, call 14071 and may listen to the messages, if any, right away. By calling 14071, the user hears how many messages he/she has and, thereafter the messages are listened to one after another. Thereby, the user is not notified of the number from which the message was left to him/her, but he/she only hears the recorded message (in SMS notification, he/she has the information on the number). After listening to the message, the user may either delete the message or disconnect. If he/she deletes the message, he/she starts listening to the following message. If he/she disconnects, by repeated calling, the user will hear only the remaining messages.
- Calling 14071 is free of charge from the Telenor network (same as for the voice mail).
- Leaving of a message is charged to the user who is leaving the message according to the prevailing pricelist of the operator to whom he/she belongs.
The service Express Mail cannot be used together with the Voice Mail, which means that a user may have only one of the two services. Thereby, if a voice mail user wishes this service, he/she must first switch off the voice mail - send log-off (odjava) GP and, after the notification that it is switched off, he/she must send the request for Express Mail (log-on to (prijava) EP).
